But that´s not so strange since it´s a creative vue user that´s setup and done a ufo video of his own, quite a nice one aswell and it has aparently caused a stir on youtube getting alot of hits and producing both sceptics and believers.
Nice user made promotion for vue, that´s for sure, nice job to whomever did it.
And if we think of it, aint it cool and pretty impressive that people can create videos that look as real as this all by themselves in todays world without big budgets and tons of pc´s, just know how, skills and the right tools.

ps3.an evolving world
Just a casual and general post to let ya all know that i havent tumbled of the face of the world, but hey, it´s summer here in Sweden and we´re as always during summertime all enjoying our great weather (the northern parts of sweden that is) and cheering that we dont live in the southern parts of sweden, which is as always, plagued by storms and bad weather.
Anyway, in the world that is sony and playstation 3 things are always improving and evolving, as we all know but some seems die hard to neglect or atleast pretend to wont happen :)
So what´s new, well a 100us$ pricedrop on the 60gig ps3 is a new thing, and a nice one to for all of you that havent picked one up yet, great system(in my humble opinion, by far, the best media and console system) and now for an even better price.
The addition of the 80gig ps3 bundled with motorstorm for the price of the 60 gig systems old price is another nice addition, but even better and far more important is the firmware changes that sony has been pushing out.
Ps3 as of today isnt what was launched earlier this year in europe and in november in usa/japan, it´s a far, far better product with alot more features and quality.
Just look at the simple fact that until now here in europe you havent been able to buy a hdmi 1.3 enabled blue-ray player, except for the ps3... and the same thing goes for the full rgb, super white features and native 1080p 24fps, all supported by the ps3, and now with the latest sony stand alone blue ray players you can purchase another blue ray player capable of the same thing and quality as the ps3, but for more then twice it´s price!
Now, aint that great value when picking up the ps3... Granted, most videophiles and stores and salespersons just dont realice this because they look at the ps3 as a console, nothing more and nothing less, a shame but their loss of course, just wish sony would spend alittle money highligting this area of the ps3, because alot of people do pick it up for it´s media capacity aswell as it´s game capacity, but im sure 10 times more would if they knew the quality of the ps3 when it comes to this area.
Anyway, super white, native 1080p with 24fps support and full rgb wasnt part of the ps3´s featureset back with it´s original firmware, but it is now and has been for a few updates, the addition of the media server feature is another new feature that has strenghten the playstation 3´s place as your households media center cornerstone.
Tons of improvements has been made to this already impressive hardware media toy and tons more will be done, the addition of home will be another great update and since it´s free every single ps3 user will be able to enjoy it.
Nice sales in europe and australia is another neat feat, but of course media only covers the slower sales in usa and japan and seems to avoid the fact that the ps3 is selling faster then anyother sony console in europe and australia despite it´s pricetag (you do know it´s even more expensive in europe and australia then usa and japan).
Another interesting read in usa based media is of course that no one seems to cover that the ps3 sells alot better then xbox360 in japan, only loosing out to wii and it´s older brother, the ps2, nothing to care about of course, but a fun observation never the less.
Anyway, enough of that.
It´s great fun being a ps3 owner and the calling all cars release on the playstation store made it even funnier, a so so single player game, but if you have kids, a loved one or simply friends that actually visit you in real life as oposed to only showing up on msn or your cell phone, then calling all cars is most likely the best spent 70skr:- you´ll ever dropped (not sure what the price is in use but i guess 7-8 us$).
Simple game, simple graphics, simple gameplay, but very well made and easy to get in on, but if you have real life company, it´s just one of those games that will always work, firing up and humiliating your friend(s) for an hour or two or just a few minutes, great fun!
As for the future, we´re all looking forward to the 2.0 firmware upgrade and the inclusion of home, singstar for the ps3, assasins creed, nhl08, final fantasy 13, little big planet, killzone 2, heavenly sword and possible haze and lair.
gta 4 is of course another interesting title but im not so sure that it will provide anything new compared to it´s older sybblings, if it does we´ll pick it up, if not, we´ll sidestep it.
Ah yes, need for speed pro looks realy nice aswell but for now it´s back to reality and enjoying our vacation and the sun together with the rest of the family, me and my gf have spent time redoing the house aswell, nothing major but small and very nice improvements here and there and we have some more to do aswell before we´re 100% satisfied, but oh boy it´s realy neat so far :)

spiderman 3.the movie, not the game
We caught it on the cinema last week with a female friend of ours but i have to say that we were alittle disapointed all three.
Sure it was wellmade, the story were alot more adult(which is usualy a good thing in our book), the fx was on target, catchy script and a cast that worked as is.
But for some reason the movie wasnt what we have come to expect seeing the first two spiderman films, i dont know, i think the movie missed it´s own legacy or something, But who cares,it´s a decent, wellmade movie that´s worth to see on dvd slash blue-ray, but it´s realy not worth it seeing it on the big screen.
Atleast in our humble opinion :)

Just another lier
Politicians are as we know all hypocritic, liers and backstabbers, talking smack about things people shoudnt do that they do all the time on their own and well, moral´s have never been a politicians strong side.
Seeing someone wasting their and others life´s for seven years living a complete lie just because it needs to look good in the publics eye, lol wake up and smell the roses.....
But that´s just a grand looking wish because politicians wont ever grasp the idea that it´s far better being a real person, showing the world the truth, speaking the truth and just enjoy life, instead they´ll keep on pretending, lying and talking smack.
And they wonder why people have lost interest in politicians and politics (apart from the ones that think money and fame is worth everything)

ps3. how to browse any folder
Just tap the triangle button and pick search/show all once you´ve plucked in your external device and there you go.
It´s not a new discovery but since alot of media is still talking about the playstation 3 not being able to browse folders that hasnt been properly named it´s worth reposting.
so no problemas in other words, your new ps3 can browse any folder on your external hd´s,mp3 players, psp, ipod or whatever your flavour is.

ekwall: Swedish wimp
Well i can understand ekwalls point of view here, it isnt fun getting a 60.000:- sek phone bill for one months of usage (divide in 7 to get the amount of us$) Ah ok, you´re lazy so how about me doing it for you, well it´s 8571 us$ :).
But you know, Ekwall realy is.. i dont know, i mean we all know you have to pay roaming fee´s while being abroad, it´s sad yep, but we all know about it.
And besides, i mean didnt he even get to see the sun or? 8571 us$ is quite alot so he cant have spent much time without his laptop during his vacation.
Just confirms my opinion of this so called tv4. profile.
With that said tho, i do feel for him, Telia has a responsability here aswell to control what he´s doing or just disconnect his 3g connection once it hits a over the top amount compared to his usual monthly bill.
Not to mention that the roaming fee´s are nothing but greed anyway, it realy should be flat rate world wide.

Yep the big old redmond company just doesnt charge you money, they actually do release stuff free of charge now and then.
Only available for Usa citizens.. but for those of you residing over there it´s a fully working and capable accounting application so who cares if the website design is subpar to say the least.

wii´s losing ground
or atleast taking a temporary nosedive in Japan, im personaly not surprised since as fun as it can be to stand in front of your tv waving your arms it´s no reason to buy an inferior console system(in my humble opinion), especialy not since you can stand in front of your tv and wave your hands, run and jump on playstation 2 aswell (eyetoy) and we all know that will happen on playstation 3 aswell.
So, sure if wii would have been a better console or cheaper then the good ol ps2, then it might have made sense, but now it doesnt, atleast not for me.
Granted it might bounce back and come out on top, but i dont realy care, i see no reason to replace any of our ps2 systems with it and i see no reason to pick up a wii to complement our ps3 and pc.
It´s old hardware, old games and in my humble opinion nothing but a new way to try and redo the success of sony´s eyetoy, this time with a controller instead of a camera, which for me feels worse.

Aparently Anna nicole smith joined a not so funny and bright membership club,
the playboy bunnies that passed away before they reached the age of 50.
And the number amongst that group that passed away due to drugs and murder is higher then expected, which of course just hints at what we already know, the modelling world aint as pretty as it wants to be, it´s a sad and tragic one for alot of people, but of course a pretty and funny place for others.

And the honor goes to Beyonce, well deserved if you ask me, nice looking chic even tho my sexy and gorgoeus looking significant other would have done just as good(or better if i would have been the only person to be asked :P), but Beyonce fits the bill and she´s famous and we´re not :)
And no we woudnt want to be either, far better living the great life we do and not having press scrutinize everything we do or dont, makes you wonder how many so called stars regrets their choices in life deep down.
